PLEASE READ the memo from the district to all parents on the swine flu.

10 Day Absent PolicyThe Grossmont Union High School District is adhering to a 10 day absence policy. Students who have more than ten excused or unexcused absences in a class will not receive credit for that class. Students have the opportunity to make up absences in Saturday School and should sign up in the attendance office. Please be proactive in checking your students current attendance by checking Parent Portal online or by calling the attendance office at (619) 956-0231.

Applegate's Salute

Last year, a group of Santana cross
country runners volunteered to take
part in the annual ALS “Roll for a cure-Carlsbad marathon”. The Santana team took turns pushing Paul Applegate along the course. The impact that these boys made on Mr. Applegate was tremendous. Mr. Applegate recently passed away from ALS but before his recent death he wrote a ‘salute’ to the Santana runners:
