STUDENT BULLETIN:

MR. SANTANA is next Friday, March 4th in the gym at 6:30 pm.  Tickets are $5 or $3 with an ASB card.  A limited amount of VIP seats are also available.  VIP seating gets you a floor level table with padded seats, complimentary water and popcorn, and a waiter so you don’t have to wait in the concessions line.  VIP seats are $10 each.  Councilman Rob McNelis will be emceeing the event and special gust judge, Allie Wagner, will be returning.  Last year our king was crowned and televised on KUSI’s Pigskin Prep Report.  So come out, bring the whole family.  We promise not to disappoint.

BLOOD DRIVE: ASB is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, March 10th in the dance room.  Permission slips are available in the ASB room, library, attendance, and in Mrs. Elliott’s art room (702).  Make sure you fill out the appropriate permission slips.  15 and 16 year olds fill out the green, 17 and 18 year olds fill out the white.  Please have the signed permission slips turned into ASB or Mrs. Elliott by Friday, March 4th.  We are trying to get at least 45 appointments to help reach our goal.  Teachers, if you would like to donate, please contact Mrs. Elliott.

NOMINATING CONVENTION: ASB will be hosting its Nominating Convention on Monday, April 11th.  Now is a good time to start planning if you would like to run for office.  Anyone can run for the following commissions:  Elections, Historian, Events, Spirit, Publicity, Concessions and Technology.  For the Executive Offices:  President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, you need at least one year in ASB to run.  If you don’t get elected, no worries, you could always apply to be an ASB Assistant.  We will be accepting applications and hosting interviews in the weeks directly after Nom Con.  More details to come.
