Friday Announcements:

ACADEMIC LEAGUE: The JV Academic League team, led by high scores from Kierstyn Connell and Cole Hunter, crushed Monte Vista with a score of 64 to 12.  Way to go Sultans!

SCHOOL PAPER: Hey there Sultans!  Don’t forget about our school newspaper online.  Go to .  We publish every Friday night.  Keep up with your fellow peers and opinions on important topics, worldly news, and what is going on in the community around you. 

BOYS’ GOLF: Are you interested in trying out for boys’ golf this season?  Gold tryouts are less than a month away.  Come to Mr. Kay’s room, 802, today at lunch to get more information.

TRACK MEETING: Any student interested in coming out for track this year, there will be a meeting today at break in the dance room.

BOYS’ TENNIS: There is a meeting today for any and all boys interested in playing tennis this season.  The meeting will take place at lunch today in room 704.  No experience necessary to be a part of the team.

PING PONG CLASSIC: The First Annual Santana Winter Ping Pong Classic will kick off next week with 3 separate levels battling for the ping pong hardware.  There is still time to be a part of the fun.  Come to room 704 to sign up and play in your ability group.

Clubs and Organizations:

CHESS CLUB meets Monday’s at lunch in Mr. Barajas’ room 706.

PEACE COUNCIL: Want to make a difference here at Santana?  Come join Peace Council!  Meetings are Wednesdays at lunch in room 111.

THE DJ CLUB meets at lunch on Thursday’s to mix and play music in Room S4.

ROBOTIC'S TEAM meets in Ms. Stanley's room 307 Wednesdays at lunch.

ZOMBIE CLUB meets on Monday’s at lunch in Ms Chandler's room S7. New members welcome. Come with ideas on how to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. We are all infected.

ECOLOGY CLUB: Come join the Ecology Club next Wednesday at lunch in room S-8 as we kick off the 2nd Semester with a fun Eco-related activity and a chance to hear more new ideas for our club.  You will be treated to a reward if you show up so join us.

PING PONG CLUB: The PING PONG Club is off and running.  With 50+ members we have created 3 divisions.  The Olympic division plays on Mondays, the Intermediates play on Tuesdays, and the Novice division plays on Wednesdays.  Friday is open play.  Any and all are still welcome to join.  Our first fundraiser begins soon.  Come to 704 today to get all the info and to join the Ping Pong rage.
