After retiring in 2021, Mr. Wilbur returned as Santana's Interim Principal, discovering a new passion. According to GUHSD Superintendent Mary Beth Kastan, "Mr. Wilbur had no intention of staying permanently, but he fell deeply in love with Santana's exceptional staff and the Sultan community." Kastan added, "I firmly believe he's the perfect fit to continue Santana's 59-year legacy of academic, athletic, and artistic excellence." Mr. Wilbur's story embodies dedication, passion, and leadership, inspiring us all.
