Class of 2026: The Senior Home Stretch 🎓

🗓️ Event Timeline: May & June

💃 Senior Prom Details

• Tickets: On sale through May 13th. Purchase via the 5-Star App (card) or Finance Office (cash).
• Pricing: $26 with ASB card / $30 without.
• Guests: If your guest is not a Santana Senior, you must obtain a guest pass from Mrs. Millum’s desk. Guests 21+ require Vice Principal approval.
• Early Release: If you plan to leave school early on May 15th, you must bring a physical note to the Attendance Office. No phone calls, please!

💻 Chromebooks & Fines

The Chromebook Choice

• Buy it: You can purchase your Chromebook and charger for $20 at the Finance Office (March 31 – May 27). You must bring the device with you to purchase.
• Return it: If not purchasing, return it to the Library by May 28th at 3:30 PM.
• Data Warning: GUHSD Google accounts deactivate July 31st. Use Google Takeout to save your files, or they will be lost to the digital abyss forever.

Pre-Graduation Check-Off

• Clear Fines: Check your "Destiny" account or the list in the Finance Office.
• Textbooks: Return these to the Library, not your teachers.
• Consequence: Diplomas and Cap/Gown sets will be held if you have outstanding fines or unreturned materials.

🎓 The Big Day: Graduation Information

Attendance & Arrival

• Mandatory Rehearsal: 8:30 AM on June 3rd. No rehearsal, no walking!
• Ceremony Arrival: Seniors must be in the Gym by 5:00 PM.
• Guest Entry: Gates open at 4:00 PM. No tickets required; seating is first-come, first-served.

Dress Code & Belongings

• Attire: Nice slacks, dress shirts, dresses, or pantsuits.
• Footwear: No spike heels (they sink into the turf!). Flats or wedges are your friends.
• Prohibited Items: No flowers or balloons during the ceremony. No purses or cell phones—leave them with your parents or in the car.

Caps & Gowns

• Gowns are RENTALS: You must return your gown (and rented cap/tassel) immediately after the ceremony in the Large Quad to receive your diploma.
• Decorating: You may decorate your cap only if you purchased it. Decorations must be school-appropriate.

📸 Graduation Extras

• Photos: Cherished Memories will capture your moment on stage.
• Live Stream: For family far away, a link will be posted on the Santana Website on graduation day.
